Inspired by the enigmatic Lincolnshire Poacher number station, this short interactive horror game was brought to life in just 2 hours.
The Lincolnshire Poacher was a mysterious shortwave numbers station that broadcasted cryptic sequences believed to be coded messages for intelligence operatives. Named after the traditional English folk song the station operated from the mid-1970s to around 2008,
The game creates a sense of unease through utilizing a limited palette of lighting and sound, echoing the eerie and clandestine nature of the broadcasts and designed to reflect the sense of tension in the modern world, by drawing on tensions of the past.
